Setting the pump pressure
The switch-on pressure of the electronic pump control is preset to 1.6 bar. This is
indicated by the green "MIN" indicator lighting up. Experience has shown that this
value is ideally suited for most installations. Should any modification of this set-
ting be required, you must switch off the pump by pressing the "STOP" button
and then keep the "CUT-IN" button pressed for 3 seconds. Then the green indi-
cator light that indicates the currently set switch-on pressure starts flashing. By
pressing the "CUT-IN" button again you can change the value for the switch-on
pressure in ascending order, the selected switch-on pressure value is indicated
by the flashing of the corresponding LED. If the "CUT-IN" button is not pressed
for more than 5 seconds, the correspondingly selected value is saved and the
pump returns to standby mode and can then be restarted by pressing the "ON"
button. To store the start-
up pressure, you can press the “CUT-IN” button for
three seconds.
In this context, please note that a modification of this kind will only affect the
switch-on pressure of the pump, but will not cause any pressure increase inside
the pipe system. The cut-out pressure will always be the max. pressure of the
pump and isn´t changeable in this mode.

Protection in case of small leaks
The device has an appliance to notice a little permanent water loss, for example
leaking lines or connectors and shut down the pump. If the automatic garden
pump switches in/off in short times again and again, it recognizes a leakage. The
pump switch to Error (red
LED “Fehler” (Error) lights up) and the blue pressure
light runs permanent from the top to the bottom. In this case, you should check
all connections and lines. Also check the check valves, if they are dirty. After
solve the problem, press
the “ON / Neustart” button to start the pump again.
Please note, that this protection can only note little leakage. It doesn´t
switch off, if there is for example a water pipe is broken. A big leakage
won´t be detected, because the pump indicates a normal use.
8.6.
Operation of pump with pressure tank (mode "with tank")
For setting the functions in "mit Tank" (with tank) mode (use as a booster set),
you can ask for sending a detailed instruction as a pdf-file at the following e-mail
address: info@T.I.P..com.cn.
9. Maintenance and troubleshooting
Prior to carrying out any maintenance work, the pump must be sepa-
rated from the electrical mains. If you fail to separate the unit from
mains, there is a risk of an inadvertent start of the pump.
We decline any liability for damage caused by inappropriate repair at-
tempts. Any damage caused by inappropriate repair attempts will avoid
all warranty claims.
