7. Touch Select date format to select how you want to display the
date on your mobile phone. This change will be applied to the date
displayed in the alarm clock.

How to adjust the screen brightness
1. Touch Main Menu > Settings > Sound & display, scroll down the
screen, and then touch Brightness.
2. Drag the slider left to make the screen darker, or right to make it
brighter.
3. Touch OK to save the adjustment.
How to adjust the time before the screen turns off
Leave your mobile phone alone for a bit, and it will turn off the screen
to save battery power. You can set a longer or shorter idle time like this:
1. Touch Main Menu > Settings > Sound & display, scroll down the
screen, and then touch Screen timeout.
2. Touch the time before the screen turns off.
How to calibrate the screen
Calibrate the screen if the phone cannot respond to your operation
correctly.
1. Touch Main Menu > Settings > Sound & display > Calibration.
2. Follow the onscreen instructions and touch the center of the cross
that appears on the screen.
3. When the calibration completes, press the Send key to exit.
How to prevent the screen orientation from automatically
changing
Your mobile phone is equipped with a built-in orientation sensor which
enables it to change the screen orientation from vertical to horizontal
when you rotate your mobile phone anti-clockwise by 90 degrees
(Home screen excepted). If you want to prevent this automatic
adaptation, do as follows:
