8.5.1 BISS1
The BISS page is only visible if the BISS licence key is unlocked. The BISS Session Word must
be input by the user as shown in figure
. The Session Word is automatically converted to
it’s appropriate Control Word.

The CP525 will ensure that the Session Word may not be changed more often than every 10th
second, and no more than 10 times in a 5 minute period.
8.5.2 Conditional Access
This navigator entry is only visible if scrambling has been enabled. Refer to

guidance to enable scrambling.
This page lets the user configure conditional access parameters that are common to the entire
unit. The actual scrambling of service components is done one the service config page
Conditional Access supports DVB SimulCrypt version 2 and 3
.

8.5.2.1 ECM
This page allows configuration of ECM scrambling groups. To the left is a tree showing all
current ECM channels and groups and any pending changes, additions and removals. For each
channel and group the name of the channel/group and the its current status is shown. Channels
and groups that have changes that aren’t applied are shown as yellow. New channels and groups
are also shown as yellow with the label
New Channel
or
New Group
. Channels/groups that will
be removed when the user hits the Apply button are shown as red.
