MIP Configuration
This page allows the user to configure transmission of MIP. It has three sections. The first
section, MIP Config contains the following parameters:
Transmit MIP
Check this box to transmit MIP packets.
Max delay
Allows the setting of the MIP max delay which is signalled in the MIP packet.
DVB-H Time slicing
Checking this sets the corresponding bit in the MIP packets.
DVB-H MPE-FEC
Checking this sets the corresponding bit in the MIP packets.
TPS TS priority
Whether to signal HP (high priority) or LP (low priority )in the
tps_mip TS priority
field. Enable check-box to signal HP. This is not the same as the TS priority bit field in the
TS packet header, which is always set to 1.
The second section contains status parameters about the transmitted MIP packets:
OFM mode
Status showing whether output is in OFDM mode, allowing MIP transmission.
MIP controller status
Shows the current state of the MIP controller. This is a controller that can be controlled
through SNMP. It can inhibit MIP transmission. If this value is “-” no command has been
received. If the value is “Stopped (Xs)”, MIP transmission is stopped for X seconds.
