on the output will be kept if still within valid remap PID range, to avoid output PID
changes. If disabled PIDs will always get a new remapped value the output when input
PIDs changes. Any change to the Auto-Remap settings will always trigger a new remap of
all output PIDs.
Rule type
Automatic PID remapping supports separate rules for each type of PIDs being processed
by the multiplexer. Possible values for this parameter are “Shared PCR”, “ECM”, “EMM”,
“Video”, “Audio”, “Subtitles”, “Teletext”, “PMT”, “Data”, “Unsignalled” and “Other”.
“Other” will serve as a wildcard for all rule types that has
not
been defined. The exception
to that rule is the “Unsignalled” rule type. “Other” will not remap unsignalled PIDs.
Start PID
Defines the PID start value for the specified rule type. Together, Start and End PID forms
the PID range for the specified rule type. In the case where the start value is higher than
the end value the remapping will be reversed, top to bottom.
End PID
Defines the PID end value for the specified rule type. Make sure to assign a big enough
range for all the PIDs that you want to remap.
Port offset
This parameter defines the amount the PID values will be stepped up per input ’Port
Index’.
Service offset
This parameter defines the amount the PID values will be stepped up per service trans-
mitted from an input.
Component offset
This parameter defines the step size between components of the same type within a service.
Thus it will not have any effect unless there are more than 1 component of the same type
withing a service.
The buttons “Add Rule” and “Remove Rule” can be used to add and remove the respective rule
types.
8.7.2.10.2 Automatic Service Remapping
