JOYSTICK
Do not move the joystick until the battery
indicator (2) steadily lights up.
Driving and steering manoeuvres
The joystick (1) on the electric wheelchair
is used for acceleration and braking. Slow-
ly move the joystick in the desired driving
direction.
The farther you move the joystick away
from the midline position, the faster the
wheelchair goes (up to the pre-set maxi-
mum speed).
To navigate a curve, move the joystick si-
multaneously in the direction you wish to
turn. If you move the joystick strictly to one
side or another, the wheelchair will almost
turn on a dime (rotate on the spot).
☞
When driving in reverse or navigating
curves, the speed is automatically re-
duced.
Braking the electric wheelchair
The electric wheelchair stops whenever you
release the joystick.
For safe braking, slowly ease the joystick
back to the midline (default) position.
