Operator´s manual round bale wrapper 7640
SS
7.4.3 Loading
When roller table is tipped forward and
loading arm moved out, the bale is
positionned in front of the wrapper. Loading
arm is moved in and tip roller table lifted to
horizontal position.
Model M& S only:
Observe! Beware of collision risk between
loadingarm and satellite if table is too far
back of level position.
7.4.5 Filmcutting
The filmcutter holds and cuts the film auto-
matically
It’s functionality is influenced by:
Film remnants and cleanliness
Bale size and bale shape
Temperature
Film quality
Position of the knife
Film release, moment and duration
Stop position of pre-stretcher
7.4.5.1 Stop position pre-stretcher
The pre-stretcher should stop so the upper
edge of the film is reached by the cutter
arm. If the satellite moves too far, it might
collide with th bale during loading and un-
loading.
The filmcutting is manually operated on
model M.
Model S & C has automatically filmcutting.
The satellite stop position is influenced by
bale size and can if necessary be adjusted
by moving the stop sensor (SS) fitted on the
satellite drive unit.
If the hydraulic back pressure is too high, it
might open the satellite brake unintended.
This can be the cause of problems reaching
the correct stop position. See chapter 6.3
