CAUTION: Unplug the vacuum cleaner before servicing
1. Make sure the direct air motor is running. If it is not see page 51.
2. Check the brush strips for wear and replace as necessary. See pages 15-16 for instructions.
3. Check the belt for wear. If it is damaged or stretched, replace. See page 14 for instructions.
4. The bottom plate may be out of place. Check that it is flush with the bottom edge of the nozzle and
reposition if necessary.
5. Check that all wheels are spinning freely. If not lubricate the axles or replace wheels as necessary.
6. Check that the spring assist is in place and not broken or damaged (Fig. A and B.) If the spring is
broken or damaged replace as shown on page 46-47.
