For a completely non-blocking system, the technician should avoid installing
the following cards in
slots 1-8 of peripheral shelves 6 and 7
:
30T/x, T1, PRI24, PRI 30, IPG, PUGW, UGW-E and UGW.
Tip:
If a number of
heavy consumer
cards are to be installed in Peripheral Shelf
Units, determine which slot sets are least blocking by referring to
.
Insert the first heavy consumer card in one of the slot sets, the next card in
the next least blocking slot set, etc.
When possible, avoid installing more than one heavy consumer card in a
single slot set.
