Dual Power Supply
Supplying power is shared between two PS-ATS units. Either of the units is capable
of providing the full power supply needs of the entire control system, when one of the
PS-ATS units malfunctions. Alarms indicate the fault and inform the administrator via
the various alarm indication facilities. The faulty PS-ATS unit can be replaced while
the system is live and operating (Hot Standby), without the need to shutdown any part
of the system.
