Adjusting the Backlight
You can adjust the backlight on the LCD screen of the EXP39 expansion module via the
host phone. The backlight on the LCD screen of the EXP39 expansion module is
synchronized with that of the host phone.
Backlight has two options:
Backlight Level: The backlight intensity of the LCD screen. You can choose a value to
represent the intensity.
Backlight Time: The delay time to turn off the backlight when the IP phone is inactive.
You can choose a designated time to turn off the backlight.
You can adjust the backlight on the LCD screen of the EXP39 expansion module from the
following options:
Always Off: Backlight is turned off permanently.
Always On: Backlight is on permanently.
15s, 30s, 60s, 120s, 300s, 600s or 1800s: Backlight is turned off when the phone is
inactive after the designated time (in seconds).
To adjust the backlight on the LCD screen of the EXP39 expansion module connected to
the host phone (Taking the SIP-T28P IP phone as an example for reference):

Press Menu->Settings->Basic Settings->Display->Backlight on the host phone.

Press or , or the Switch soft key to select the desired level from the
Backlight Level field on the host phone.
