To perform unscreened transfer of an established call:
1. Press
[XFER]

page ix
).
2. Dial the required number or press a DSS key.

3. Listen for the ringback or busy tone

[SPKR]
or hang up to transfer call.
When transfer is not completed:
When an unscreened call is either busy or unanswered, the call will
automatically return to you after a system-wide time-out period.
Should the station remain unanswered (NANS) you will receive the following

Should the station still remain busy (SBSY) you will receive the following

When either of these above messages are received (telephone rings):
1. First answer the return call then either

[CAMP ON]
key (for an explanation of Camp On, see
page 42
)
or
Ask calling party if they want to transfer to another party or to hang up.

Note:
When you press the Camp On key the call will automatically camp on
to the station from which the call was transferred. This procedure can
be carried out any number of times.
x = Station unanswered or still busy
y = Original caller (first party)
