You can transfer both internal and external calls to other users within your
system or outside it. A call can be screened or unscreened. Transfer routes a
call you received to an idle station. It can also link a call you held to other
ports. When Auto transfer is defined at your station, dialing a number will
automatically transfer that number. Remaining procedures are the same as
regular transfer (see
“Glossary”
in Appendix A, at the end of this manual, and
“Symbols Used in This Guide” on page ix
, for a fuller explanation of Auto
transfer).

Screened Transfer:
You may announce the call before transferring.
•
Unscreened Transfer:
You may transfer the call without a prior
announcement. When the destination is busy, hanging up will in effect cause
the system to camp on (external call only) to the busy station.
To perform screened transfer of an established call:
1. Press
[XFER]

2. Dial the required number or press a DSS key.
