Waiting Calls Receiving
The presence of the waiting call tone or voice paging tone or muted ring
indicates that another call is waiting for you to answer. When you hear this
tone, or the second row displays any of the special call waiting messages, you
know that a call is waiting and you have the following choices:
• Continue the current call and ignore the waiting call.

• Press
[HOLD]
, then when you hear a ring, answer the waiting call.
• Release the current call, wait for a ring, and then answer the waiting call.
• Continue the current call and press any flashing button to have a new
incoming call join the conversation in a 3-way mode (this option is available
only if your FlexSet is defined with the Auto_Join parameter).
• Press
[DIVERT CALL]
if available (see
page 56
).
• Press
[CALLS WAITING]
to view the number of waiting calls (see
page 183
).
• Press
[CALLS WAITING ACD#]
to view the number of waiting calls for a specific
ACD group (see
page 5
).
• Press
[XFER]
to put the current call on hold, answer the waiting call (this option
is available only if your FlexSet is defined with Answer Call Waiting with HF
parameter). Depending on your Class of Service definitions, any further
[XFER]
will establish one of the four call types described on the
next page
