6. Motor Wiring
6‐1 Wiring for lead wire type fan motor

Caution
* Be sure to connect the protective ground wire to the fan motor.
(It may cause a breakdown, an electric leakage, or an electric shock.)
* Do not sprinkle water over the oil cooler.
(It may cause a breakdown, an electric leakage, an electric shock, or an early rust
formation.)
* Do not touch with a wet hand.
* Before cleaning, be sure to unplug the power cord or turn off the circuit breaker
on the distribution panel. (It may cause an electric shock or an injury.)
* Installation, operation, and maintenance must be done by a proper technician.
(It may cause an electric leakage or an injury.)
* Carry out wiring work safely and securely in accordance with the electrical
equipment standards and internal wiring rules.
(A loose connection or a wrong connection may cause an electric shock or a fire.)
Disassembly, wiring, and reassembly should be carried out by the following procedures.
(The exploded view is shown on page 4)

Disassembly
1)
Loosen the screw① and remove the radiator② from the case③.
2)
Loosen the nut④ and remove the washer⑤ and the fan guard⑥.
3)
Loosen the screw⑦ and remove the fan motor⑧.
(2)
Ground wiring
1)
Loosen the screw⑨ at the ground terminal on the removed fan motor⑧.
2)
Attach the prepared ground wire to the ground terminal on the fan motor and retighten
the screw⑨.
Note: Use a round pressure terminal for the ground wire.
