Operating Modes
The T3010
II
is a conventional (PMR) two-way radio featuring
built-in CTCSS/DCS capabilities. CTCSS and DCS are systems
that isolate your calls so that you only talk with a single group
even though other users may be on the channel. They do this
by screening out radio traffic that does not carry the correct
signal.
Your T3010
II
may be further enhanced by adding optional
Selcall facilities. Selcall permits fleet radios to be alerted indi-
vidually to incoming calls. Note that your radio is limited to
calling Selcall identities which have been preprogrammed into
it.

Use of a handheld microphone or radio
by the driver while in the act of driving
contravenes Section 3 of the Radio Traf-
fic Act. An offender could be charged
under this Act with driving without due
care or reasonable consideration to
other road users.
