Changeover switch
“Center” position (normal operation): lit in green
Set the switch to the “center” position usually.
Operation of the switch will switch display of the thread breakage
indicator lamp.
When the machine stops by thread breakage detection (lights in red),
starting the machine after performing frame back to the position
where thread broke will cause only the head that detected thread
breakage to restart the embroidery at that position.
To perform embroidery from the position where frame back started
in condition without detection of thread breakage, set the switch to
“Top” once after performing frame back (lit in red). When releasing
your hand, the switch will automatically return to “Center” position
by return spring.
“Bottom” position (needle bar suspended): unlit
Positioning the switch to “bottom” will cause the presser foot,
nipple and needle bar to move up to the retracting position (The
machine does not perform embroidery).

Blinking in green:
Frame back section excluding head of thread breakage
Lights in red:
When thread breakage is detected
Unlit:
When the changeover switch is positioned to “bottom”

Looper will switch automatically according to setting for automatic
embroidery mode selection (p.4-9).
