Sample Block Cleaning
》
Clean the Sample Block once-monthly, occasionally based on frequency of use or
soiling conditions. If the Sample Block is duty, it may affect the strength of the
fluorescence. In order to check whether the Sample Block is soiled/dirty, tighten the
Lid without putting anything on theSample Block, and then photograph in FAM and
ROX modes and verify that fluorescence is not visible. If dirty, clean using ethanol
and/or tap water by swabs.
< Prepare the followings >

Cotton swab (slender type)
●
Ethanol (100%)
<Procedure>

Verify that there is no plate on the Sample Block, and close the Lid.
②
Open [Instrument] > [Calibrate] > [Optical] from the homescreen menu.
