When you first turn your device on, the home screen
appears as shown here. At the top right corner you
can see a battery-status indicator, together with the
actual percentage of charge remaining, whilst the time
clock is at the top left corner.
For the main menus, there is first a group of the six
most frequently used buttons (NAVI, MUSIC, MOVIE,
PICTURE, GPS & BRIGHTNESS), which appear in the
centre, and then when you click the down arrow
button on the right hand side, three more (TIME SET,
CALIBRATE, & ABOUT) come up.
Each button represents a software feature (NAVI,
MUSIC, MOVIE or PICTURE) or a setting-related
function (GPS, BRIGHTNESS, TIMESET, CALIBRATE or
ABOUT); to access one of them, just tap the
corresponding button. Remember to press the TAKARA
knob button whenever you jump back to the Home
Screen or step back to an upper-level screen. The
following sections describe these nine buttons.
