Removal of Valve Cotter:
Use a magnet to remove a cotter if it doesn’t come off easily.

Remove first the valve spring compressor, and then the following parts:

Valve spring retainer
・
Valve spring (Inner & Outer)
・
Valve

Valve Disassembly
Compress the valve spring using a valve spring compressor.
Caution: Never compress it more than necessary.

Special tools: Valve spring compressor kit: Item No. 00-01-1005

inexperienced or unskilled are requested not to do the installation work.

Molybdenum solution

This molybdenum solution is a mixture of molybdenum grease and engine oil in a ratio of 1:1.
∴
Apply either molybdenum solution or assembly paste to the portion where application of molybdenum solution is specified.
