Required Circuit Boards
Circuit boards of the Taktis cabinet can be added, configured and replaced without altering field wiring
connections. This modularity allows each Taktis Fire Control Panel to be customized for specific operation.
Circuit boards of the Taktis Fire Control Panel are installed and configured for required and optional features.
Required circuit boards provide the Taktis Fire Control Panel with minimum fire alarm control functionality.
Required circuit boards for an addressable AS7240 compliant Taktis Fire Control Panel include:

System Board A Module
•
System Board B Module
•
Dual Loop Module

The Taktis Fire Control Panel must include the System Board A Module, System Board B Module and the
Dual Loop Module for minimum operation. Minimum operation describes the Taktis Fire Control Panel as an
operating fire control panel.
All circuit boards of the Taktis Fire Control Panel are field replaceable.
The figure below illustrates minimum functions of the Taktis Fire Control Panel with the Main Back Board
containing System Board A Module, System Board B Module and the Dual Loop Module.
