6.3. Preparing the machine for operation
Having completed a transport passage and set the tractor for mowing, remove the transport
pin, lower the side guards and secure them with the cotter pins. Next, lower the cutting bar to
the horizontal position and adjust the height of its suspension according to the dimensions
shown in Fig.7.

Having set the suspension, adjust the cutting height by adjusting the length of the coupling so
that the clearing between the ground and the knife is about 50-60 mm, which is to be increased
by 20-30 mm during the last cutting.
