6) Worldwide 3-year guarantee
There are no user serviceable parts inside your Edwards Audio turntable product.
Please DO NOT attempt to modify or alter the turntable in any way as this will
invalidate your guarantee. Your guarantee entitles you to have your turntable
repaired free of charge from date of purchase for the first three years (inclusive of the
motor for the first year only). This is provided that your turntable was purchased from
an authorised Edwards Audio dealer.
The manufacturer can take no responsibility for defects arising from accident, misuse,
abuse, wear and tear, neglect or through unauthorised adjustment and / or repair,
neither can they accept responsibility for damage or loss occurring during transit to or
from the person claiming under the guarantee.
The warranty covers parts and labour costs for three years from the date of purchase.
After three years you must pay for both parts and labour costs. The warranty does
NOT cover transportation costs at any time.
Your turntable should be packed in its original packaging and returned to the
authorised Edwards Audio dealer from whom it was purchased, or failing this, directly
to the Edwards Audio distributor. It should be sent carriage prepaid by a reputable
carrier – NOT by post.
No responsibility can be accepted for your turntable while in transit to the dealer or
distributor. Customers are therefore advised to insure the product against loss or
damage while in transit.
7) Conformance
Edwards Audio turntable products are manufactured to conform with the protection
requirements of the EC Council directive 89/336/EEC relating to EMC by application
of the following standards: EN50081-1 1997 Emissions Standard EN50082-1 1997
Immunity Standard and also the requirements of the EC low voltage directive relating
to electrical safety by application of the following standard: BSEN/IEC60065: 2002
International Safety standard.
All Edwards Audio turntable products are tested with interconnects supplied by
CableTALK. Compliance with the above standards may only be made if your Edwards
Audio turntable is installed in accordance with this user manual and when using the
correct cables.
