Assisted Programming
If the phone number of the line connected to the AOR Series Analog Station is unknown, the call station
can be configured to automatically call Talkaphone Technical Support for assistance.
Set
Mode Configuration DIP Switch #3
to the
OFF
position (programming mode) and activate the
pushbutton. The unit will then call Talkaphone Technical Support no matter if it is connected directly to
a PSTN line or on an analog PBX extension.
The unit will first dial 9 and listen for a second dial tone. If a second dial tone is detected, the unit will
then continue to dial the following:
1-773-539-1100, 12-second pause, 2, 16-second pause, 1
This call is long distance, so the phone line must support long distance calls.
Operation Codes
The following codes can be used to perform functions during an active phone call:

Three (3) functions:

Play the voice message only (if recorded)
(2)
Transmit the ID number (if programmed) only when no voice
message is recorded
(3)
Transmit the ID number (if programmed), then play the voice
message (if recorded)

Immediately disconnect the call and hang up the AOR Series Analog
Station (only for outbound calls)
NOTE:
If
Mode Configuration
DIP Switch #3
is not returned to the
ON
position, activating the pushbutton
will call Talkaphone Technical Support instead of the programmed phone number(s).
