Making a conference call
1. Make a call to the first party.
2. Press the
Hold
softkey.
3. Make a call to the second party.
4. Press the
Options
softkey, select
Conference
, and then press the
OK
key.
Making an analog call
If you have connected a telephone cable from the Line port on the base to the
telephone wall socket, you can make an analog call over the traditional
phone line.
1. In Idle mode, press the
OK
key on the handset to access the Main menu.
2. Choose
Settings
, and then press the
OK
key.
3. Choose
Telephony Settings
, and then press the
OK
key.
4. Choose
Primary line
, and then press the
OK
key.
5. Choose
Landline
, and then press the
OK
key.
6. Dial the phone number, and then press the
Green Phone
key.
Answering a call
1. Press the
Green Phone
key.
2. If call screening is enabled, press
to accept the call, or
to reject it.
Rejecting the call routes it to your extension’s answered (but rejected) call
cascade (e.g. voicemail or another user).
You can also set the TS-850i/TS-860i to auto answer when you pick up the
handset from the handset charger. In this case you do not have to press the
Green Phone
key.
Note that the keypad unlocks automatically when you answer an incoming call.
