Calibrate the bath temperature using a glass thermometer as follows:
1) Insert a calibrated glass thermometer suitable for the calibration temperature into the
bath.
2) Press the BATH CONT. key in the main screen to start bath temperature adjustment.
3) In the Bath Preset screen, select a bath temperature number to calibrate [Preset No.].
4) Once the current bath temperature has become stable, read the glass thermometer to
determine the calibration value.
Example) When the bath temperature is 40

Current calibration value - 0.25

The new calibration value will be:
A - B + C = 40.03 - 40.00 + (- 0.25) = - 0.22
5) Enter the correction value at [Bias].
6) Move the cursor to [Set] and press the ENTER key to calibrate the current bath
temperature.
7) Repeat steps 4) to 6) until the bath temperature becomes stable and the calibrated
glass thermometer reading matches the displayed temperature.
2.4 Setting Sample ID
Up to 10 12-character sample IDs can be registered in this Tester.
Make [Edit Sample ID] flash and then press the FUNCTION key to display the screen of Fig, 12.
