5. Parts Replacement

Warning: When replacing parts, be sure to turn off the Mains
switch, unplug the power cable, and wait for one minute
or longer. Failure to do so may result in an electric shock
or fault.

Caution: When making replacements, use genuine Tanaka parts
only.
5.1 Control Unit Parts Replacement
Be sure to note down the wiring arrangement before replacing parts so that the wiring
can be reconnected after replacement.
To remove the control unit cover, undo the four screws (two on either side) and lift the
cover up (see Fig. 16).

(1) Replacing the CPU Board
The CPU board is inserted into a socket on the MAIN board. The socket prevents
reverse insertion.
When inserting the CPU board, check the connector labels, CNA (CN1) and CNB
