TANDBERG Gateway

Features
Dial out to 2x64k ISDN (H.221)
For improved interoperability with legacy equipment, the two number 2x64k dial-out method can be selected from
the calling IP endpoint instead of using the standard BONDING method.
To instruct the Gateway to use this method, the calling IP endpoint has to combine the dialed number from:
•
A Service Prefix offering at least 128k callrate,
•
The (first) ISDN number to dial out to,
•
Two stars (“**”),
•
The second ISDN number to dial out to.
Example:
•
An H.323 Service prefix for outgoing video calls is defined as “0” (default).
•
The user wants to dial the first ISDN number 67121212 and the second number 67121213.
•
The user dials to “067121212**67121213”.
•
Audio and video are transported through the gateway when the call is connected.
