Configure the Gateway
Gateway Features
Experience has shown that new standardized features might cause interoperability problems between legacy video
conferencing products. If you disable features on this page, the gateway can be used as a filter to ensure
interoperability with legacy products.
To configure the gateway features, open ‘Gateway Configuration - Features’ as shown in the figure below.
Natural Video
Allows video formats and capabilities such as interlaced video (iCIF/iSIF) to be transmitted through the gateway.
When disabled no interlaced video capabilities will be transmitted.
Custom Video Formats
Allows H.263 custom video formats and capabilities such as SIF, 4SIF and VGA resolution to be transmitted
through the gateway. When disabled no H.263 custom video formats or capabilities will be transmitted.
Duo Stream (Duo Video / P+C)
Allows Duo Video and Polycom Content
TM
to be transmitted through the gateway. When disabled no Duo
Video or P+C capabilities will be transmitted.
Encryption
When encryption is enabled, the gateway will allow DES and
AES 128 encrypted conferences to take place. The gateway
will only encrypt calls if both sides support encryption.
