Viewing the
System Status
Registration Status
. If
Registered
, the Video
Portal is registered to the gatekeeper with
below mentioned address and port.
Note that, since this
target system is not
an endpoint it is not
possible to use its IP
address to place calls to or
through the Video Portal!
IP Address.
Shows the IP address of the
gatekeeper.
H.323 Gatekeeper Status
H.323 Gatekeeper Status
shows the current status of
the gatekeeper registration.
To view H.323 gatekeeper
status, as indicated in the
screenshot shown here,
select
H.323 Status
item of
the
Status
tab.
In case the Video Portal is in direct mode
or in case the gatekeeper IP address is
filled in incorrectly, the Video Portal will not
be registered with the gatekeeper, and the
Registration Status
is stated as
Inactive
.
About H.323 Status
Registration Status Registered
Port
. Shows the destination port number on
the gatekeeper.
Registration Status Inactive
Registration Status Rejected
Registration Status
will show
Rejected
when:
Gatekeeper unreachable; the Video Portal’s

H.323 stack returns this reject message in
case the gatekeeper is down.
Duplicate alias; a system with an identical

name has already been registered.
Authentication failure; Authentication

ID and/or Authentication Password are
incorrect.
