BATTERY
Battery Removal
1. Make sure the ignition switch is set to the "OFF" position.
2. Remove rear left side cover .
3. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery by unscrewing battery terminal
bolt.
4. Disconnect the positive cable from the battery by unscrewing battery terminal
bolt.
5. Remove battery from battery tray .
1. Insert battery into battery tray with battery terminal nuts and bolts already
installed on the battery.
2. Remove battery terminal bolts.
3. Connect positive cable and re-screw battery terminal bolt.
4. Connect negative cable and re-screw battery terminal bolt.
5. Reinstall rear left side cover .
NOTICE
Positive (+) cable is red in color.
Battery electrolyte is poisonous and dangerous,
and
contains sulfuric acid, which can cause severe b
urns
. Avoid contact with skin, eyes
or clothing.
Always
shield
your eyes when working near batteries.
EXTERNAL: Flush with water.
INTERNAL: Call a physician Immediately
and get medical attention.
EYES:

ush with water for 15 minutes and get prompt medical attention.
Batteries produce explosive gases. Keep sparks, flame, cigarettes or other sources of ignition away. Ventilate when charging or using in
an enclosed space.

Both attach to positive terminal on the battery .
