Using the Memo Pad
TapMemo's memo pad can contain up to 30 memos. Each memo can be 60
seconds long.
Adding a Memo:
To add a new memorandum to the memo pad, do the following: Press the TapKey
button. TapMemo will wake up and emit a short tone. Say "memo". TapMemo will
repeat your command. You are now in the memo menu. When another short
tone is heard, say "add new". TapMemo will ask you for the memo name to add
and will then ask you to repeat it. Then, TapMemo will ask you to record your
memo. If you wish to end the recording before the 60 seconds limit, press the
Tapkey.
Searching for (and hearing) a memo:
Access the “memo” menu. Don't remember how? Just press the TapKey
momentarily. After the tone, say "memo" and you are there!
Say "search" and at the prompt, say the name of the memo you wish to find. If
found, TapMemo will play back the name of the memo and then the memo itself.
If you wish to end the playback, press the Tapkey.
Another method of hearing the memo itself is by using the "entries playback"
command. Read below for more details.
