The ID number must be posted in the controller as explained in
section 5.8.5.1. This ID number must then be set directly on the
corresponding relay box by using jumpers or identification switches.

INFORMATION.
5.8.5.1 Assigning ID numbers to TRB Modules
This procedure shows how to post the relay boxes' identification
number in the controller so that the controller can communicate
with the relay modules.
Select "

" from the main menu using the up and down-
arrow keys. Press the right-arrow key.
Accessible from the installer mode only (s. 5.8.1).
Select the
"4. Relay Assignment"
menu then press the right-arrow
key.
Select the "
6. ID Assign.
" menu then
press the right-arrow key. The ID
numbers are displayed. Select the
relays associated with each ID# as
follows:
"1-8"
: The ID# is associated with a
TRB-8 module.
"1-16"
: The ID # is associated with a
TRB-16 module or is associ-
ated with relays 1-16 of a
TRB-32.
"17-32"
the ID# is associated with relays 17 to 32 of a TRB-32
module.
"None"
if the ID# is not associated with any relay. Select "None"
for each unused ID#.

Monitoring Functions
5.3.1 Monitoring the Number of Birds
It is possible to keep a tally of the number of birds in each house.
To do so, the user must post up every change that occurs in the
number of birds: mortalities & new animal entries. Refer to sec-
tion 5.2 to post up the initial number of birds.
Hint:
The following menu can quickly be accessed by pressing the
corresponding shortcut key.
Select the desired house from the main menu using the arrow
keys. Press the right-arrow key.
Select the
"4. # of Birds"
menu using
the arrow keys. The following pieces
of information are displayed:
Entered
: Shows the number of birds
that have been entered in the room
since the beginning of the flock.
New Entered:
Post up every new bird
entry at the proper time. The new en-
tries are added to the "Entered" menu
after a 5 second delay.
New Mortality
: Post up every new mor-
tality as they occur. The entered value
is added to the "
Mortality
" and "
Total Mortality
" menus and re-
moved from the
"Remaining"
number of birds after 5 seconds.
Mortality
: today's number of mortalities.
Total Mortality
: total mortality since the beginning of the flock.
Remaining
: Number of birds remaining in the selected house.
All these values are reset when a new flock starts (s. 5.2).
