7. TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
PROBLEM
CAUSE
SOLUTION
- The fuse of the
PSFS-1 is blown
The valve
does not open
when the
PSFS-1 is
connected.
- Turn the power off and
replace the fuse with a 2.5A
slow blow fuse.
Make sure not
to bend the fuse holder !
- There is a problem
with the power supply.
- Check for 12VAC at
the 12VAC terminals
of the PSFS-1.
- The wiring is incorrect
- The transformer is defective
- Check for 12 to 20VDC on
the MOTOR terminals of the
PSFS-1.
- Remove all wires from the
DIR terminal of the PSFS-1: if
the valve opens, then the 2
motor wires are inverted.
Interchange the 2 wires going
to the motor.
- The PSFS-1 is
defective
- Replace the PSFS-1 module.
The main
controller
does not turn
on.
- Fuse F1 is blown.
- Replace the fuse.
- The wiring is incorrect. - Turn off the power.
- Remove all wires from the
MODULE terminals of the
main controller.
- Wait 5 minutes.
- Apply power to the main
controller : If the controller
starts then there is a wiring
problem.
- Fix the wiring.
