TARGET FEED MASTER  rev.09

4. CONTROLLER'S OPERATION

4.1 DESCRIPTION OF THE CONTROLLER

The

TARGET FEED MASTER controller is an electronic device which takes

in charge the whole process of food distribution for broilers in 2 separate

houses. The controller ensures a continuous feed distribution and allows to

monitor the exact quantity of feed consumed by the birds. The user can

also monitor the amount of feed remaining in each bin.

4.2 HOW TO USE THE FEED SCALE CONTROLLER

The

TARGET FEED MASTER controller has been designed with the user in

mind.  Thus, great care has been put into making the user interface as

easy to understand as possible.  The following paragraphs explain the way

the parameters are organized and how to adjust them.

There are 2 types of values which may be seen on the display (Fig.1, Item

B): Readings and Parameters.

Reading

is a value which may not be changed by the user.

Parameter

is a value which may be changed by the user.

When a value on the display flashes, this means that it is a

parameter which may be adjusted by the user.

If the value does not flash, it is a reading, or a parameter which

is locked.

4.3 CHANGING PARAMETER VALUES

To change the value of a parameter, simply use the adjustment buttons

(Fig.1, Item D).  Use the + / - buttons to increase or to decrease the value

of a parameter.
