Key component upgrades
Your computer delivers superior power and performance. However, some users
and the applications they use may demand more. This computer allows you to
upgrade key components when you need increased performance.
Note
: Contact your authorized dealer if you decide to perform a key
component upgrade.
Memory upgrade
This notebook computer comes with two PC2-3200/PC2-4200 (400/533 MHz
DDR2) soDIMM (Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Module) sockets that accept
128/256/512/1024 MB modules. Please consult your dealer if you need to add
more memory.
To install memory, do as follows:
1.
Shutdown the computer, disconnect the AC adapter from the computer, and
remove the battery pack.
2.
Remove the two screws that secure the memory door and remove the memory
door.
