1 – Introduction

Thank you for your purchase of the TASCAM CD-200iL CD Player 

/ iPod Dock.
Before connecting and using the unit, please take time to read 

this manual thoroughly to ensure you understand how to 

properly set up and connect the unit, as well as the operation 

of its many useful and convenient functions. After you have 

finished reading this manual, please keep it in a safe place for 

future reference.
You can also download the Owner’s Manual from the TASCAM 

web sites (http://tascam.com/ or http://tascam.eu/ for Europe).

•  In addition to audio CDs (CD-DA), this unit can also play 

data CDs (CD-ROM/R/RW) that contain files in WAV, MP3 

and MP2 formats

•  2U rack mount size

•  Analog (RCA) and digital (coaxial and optical) outputs

•  Monitoring is possible with headphones 

•  TASCAM RC-CD200iL wireless remote control with number 

(0–9) buttons included

•  Displays CD text and ID3 tag information (including artist, 

album and track names)

•  Three playback modes (continuous, shuffle and program)

•  Repeat (single and all) playback functions

•  CD playback pitch control function (±14%)

•  Intro check function

•  Data CD folder playback function

•  Time display possible (track elapsed time, track remaining 

time or total time for audio CDs or total elapsed time for

•  CD drive has a 10-second shockproof memory that guards 

against skipping 

•  Included dock for iPod/iPhone with Lightning and 30-pin
