Performance tests shall be conducted on the Crossfire Monitor after a repair, or anytime a problem is reported to verify operation in
accordance with Task Force Tips test procedures. Consult factory for the procedure that corresponds to the model and the serial number
of the Monitor. Any equipment which fails the related test criteria should be removed from service immediately. Troubleshooting
guides are available with each test procedure or equipment can be returned to the factory for service and testing.

6.1 GREASE WORM GEAR

Turn the handwheel to move the nozzle to its highest elevation and pump grease (medium viscosity automotive) into
the fitting in the worm gear housing until excess appears.
