VERTICAL TOWED MIXER - TWO AUGERS
MV-30D SERIES
STEP 7: MAINTENANCE WORKS. HIGH PRESSURE FLUIDS, WELDS…
It is the responsibility of the owner/operator
of the mixer to perform good maintenance.
Poor maintenance is an invitation to problems
and breakdowns.
- The area where machine maintenance work is carried out
should be sufficiently ventilated. Never do these works with
the tractor engine running in a closed building. Exhaust gases
can cause suffocation.
- Before working inside the mixer, stop the vehicle completely,
apply the parking brake, disengage the power take-off and
power cables, turn off the engine and remove the ignition key.
- Make sure all moving parts of the accessories have stopped
completely before performing any maintenance work.
- Always use a safety system to block the wheels, such as parking blocks. Never use a
jack to support or support the machine while doing such work.
- Always use the most appropriate tools and equipment for the type of work you do by
hand. Always wear protective gloves and be very careful when making adjustments.
- Replace all covers and protections after repair and before moving the mixer.
- After work, make sure that all the tools, parts and
equipment that have intervened in the service are collected
separately.
- Pressurized fluid can penetrate the skin through openings
and small wounds and cause serious injury or death.
- Avoid this danger, relieving hydraulic pressure before
disconnecting any hydraulic line. Tighten all connections
before applying pressure.
- Never use your hands to locate hydraulic leaks in pressure
pipes. Look for possible leaks with a small piece of cardboard
where oil is reflected and protects hands and body from high
pressure fluids.
