VERTICAL TOWED MIXER - TWO AUGERS
MV-30D SERIES
PARKING BRAKE
Chocks
Two chocks are supplied with the mixer, which are
located on two supports, anchored to the rear of the
tub, equipped with a lock to prevent loss during driving.
Chocks must be returned to their support once they
have been used. They must be used:
- as a parking brake
- in a tractor or mixer failure, or
- in an emergency stop.
Preferably the mixer will be parked on flat ground, away from ditches, channels, or
slopes, where it does not pose an obstacle to the traffic.
In case of emergency, where the mixer needs to be parked on sloping ground, the
chocks will be placed with their flat part on the ground and their curved part against
the tires, on the appropriate side depending on the slope.
Hand brake
A parking hand brake can be supplied with the mixer, consisting of a lever (P) with a
ratchet, which operates, by means of a tow (S), the braking mechanism (F), built into
the mixer axle. The parking brake lever (P) is located on the side of the mixer, under
the tub access ladder.
In order to act the parking brake, pull the lever (P) until it has run its full length. It locks
automatically. To remove the parking brake, activate the release pin (D) and push the
lever (P) until it has run its course. Make sure the lever has reached the end of its
travel.
