CONSIDERATIONS PRIOR TO WORKING WITH THE MACHINE.
In order for the machine to reach its working temperature, we must press the run
button in this way moving the calendar and at the same time heating the oil, which
then is uniformly distributed over the whole of the calendar surface.
For this we press the run button and activate the temperature selector switch.
To commence work place, the roll of plastic on the plastic roll support bar. The
roll of plastic must be centred relative to the sheet to be laminated, and must
be firmly held by its cones, in order to avoid any wrinkles forming. The plastic
must be placed with the adhesive treated face towards the outside of the
calendar, as shown in the figure.
Bobina de film = Roll of film
Rodillo calandra = Calander roller
Pila de pliegos = Stack of paper
Rodillo de presión = Pressure roller or nip roller
The sheets of paper must be centred on the stack table, well separated,
avoiding any curling wherever possible, which would affect the end result of
the lamination.
