To adjust raise the stack until the piston is touching the paper by pressing the
stack-raising button.
Once in position, turn the automatic selector in order for the stack to rise, if
necessary to the correct position.
When adjusting the feeder head, the height there is between the first sheet
and the entrance into the machine must be taken into account.
This height can be adjusted by raising or lowering the feeder head by means of the
knob located on it. The distance must not be excessive, which would cause
problems at the time of feeding in the sheet, neither must it be short as very
possibly more than one sheet would be fed into the machine.
When the position of the feeder head is correct, we then regulate the claws and
blowers so that they exert pressure but do not block the movement of the sheets.
To set up the overlap of one sheet on another, sheet length will be measured in
millimetres and then subtract the length of the overlap required by the operator.
The result arrived at on doing this operation must then be introduced into the
control screen of the machine, located on the main control panel.
Prior to continuous work place the micro perforating wheel for the film and the
working margin so that it exerts pressure on the edge of the film.
In order to feed in the first sheet, take a sheet (if possible of the same
characteristics as the sheets in the stack), join the end of the film to the sheet
using a clip, and introduce the sheet under the calendar along with the film. Take
into account that the film must pass over the tensing roller and from here to the
calendar. Feed in the sheet until it can be seen between the calendar and the
pressure roller, THE SELECTOR SWITCH FOR WHICH MUST BE IN THE OFF
POSITION.
At this point for the machine the temperature selector located next to the screen
must be ON as will also the automatic switch, located on the stacker, the aspiration
selector next to the latter, working temperature should be on (at some 90ºC) and
the format to be laminated introduced on to the screen. We then adjust the speed
on the potentiometer at low.
