• After its use, disconnect the appliance; do not trust the
container’s detector.
• Disconnect the appliance and unplug the mains if you lea-
ve it unattended and before changing the accessories or
nearby moving parts, assembling, dismantling or cleaning.
• The blades are sharp and there is a risk of being cut. Pro-
ceed with caution and avoid direct contact with their edges.
• Be especially careful when handling the blades during
operations of assembly and dismantling, emptying the go-
blet and cleaning.
• If any of the appliance casings breaks, immediately dis-
connect the appliance from the mains to prevent the possi-
bility of an electric shock.
• If the mains connection is damaged, it must be replaced.
Take the appliance to an authorized Service Centre or con-
tact your dealer. In order to prevent any danger, do not at-
tempt to dismantle or repair it yourself.
• Ensure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage before
plugging in the appliance.
• Connect the appliance to a base with an earth socket withstanding a minimum of 16
amperes.
• The appliance’s plug must fit into the mains socket properly. Do not alter the plug. Do not
use plug adaptors.
• Do not force the electrical cable. Never use the electric wire to lift up, carry or unplug the
appliance.
• Do not allow the connection cable to come into contact with the appliance’s hot surfaces.
• Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
• Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
• Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage or
if it has a leak.
• Place the appliance on a horizontal, flat, stable surface, suitable for withstanding high
temperatures and away from other heat sources and contact with water.
• Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
