Basket-strainer
(Figure 29)
The basket-strainer is used to:
1. Cook ingredients that do not require mixing or
shredding.
(Figure 30).
2. Strain: soups, smoothies, juices, etc.
Secure the basket with the handle or spatula when
straining.
(Figure 31).
3. To avoid splashes and to release steam when wor-
king in hot mode, place the basket upside down on
top of the jug lid, ensuring that its measuring jug has
been first removed
(Figure 32).
To remove the basket-strainer from the jug:
The spatula handle fits into the slot of the basket and
is lifted by tugging it slightly.

1. Tray:
with a silicone gasket in the base to prevent
liquids from overflowing into the space between the
jug and lid.
2. Plastic tray.
3. Steamer lid.
To attach the metallic tray to the jug:
Proceed in the same way as with the lid: Insert the
tray flap into the jug guides

, support the
front part on the jug and push as indicated by the
arrow until you hear a click, indicating that it has pro-
perly locked.
