-Do not put the appliance away if it is still hot.
-Keep the appliance in good condition. Check
that the moving parts are not misaligned or lo-
cked and make sure there are no broken parts
or problems that may prevent the appliance
from operating correctly.
-To ensure correct operation, keep the base of
the jug, its locating pins, and the connectors on
the main unit clean.
-Always use this appliance, its accessories and
tools in accordance with these instructions,
taking into account the work conditions and
the work to be done. Never use the appliance
for purposes other than those for which it is
intended, as this could be dangerous.
-Periodically check the state of the lid seal.
-Check that the lid is closed properly before
switching on the appliance.
-Never leave the appliance connected and un-
attended if not in use. This also saves energy
and prolongs the life of the appliance.
-Do not open the lid while the liquid contained
inside the container is boiling.
-Be careful when pouring hot liquids into the
container, as they may splash back due to a
sudden emission of steam.
-Exercise caution after the appliance stops, as
the blades continue to rotate due to mechanical
inertia.
-Do not use the spatula if the blades are still
spinning.
USE
BEFORE USE:
-Make sure that all the product’s packaging
material has been removed.
-Before using the product for the first time, clean
the parts that will come into contact with food in
the manner described in the cleaning section.
ASSEMBLING THE
APPLIANCE
JUG LID (B):
-The lid is used to close the jug and activate the
safety sensors in order to start the appliance.
-The hole in the lid is used to introduce food and
release steam when the cap is removed.
-The silicone seal (C) prevents liquids from
escaping between the jar and the lid. Fit the
silicone seal in place, checking that it is seated
correctly, making sure that the thin side is in
contact with the lid.
-IMPORTANT: If the lid is closed it will not be
possible to fit or remove the jug on the main
unit.
-CAUTION: Never use the lid if the seal is not
fitted correctly.
-CAUTION: Never open the jug lid while the
appliance is in operation, as there is a danger
of the contents escaping and/or burns. Before
opening the jug lid, stop the appliance and wait
until the blades come to a standstill.
JUG (D):
-The jug has a maximum capacity of 2.3 litres.
-Fit the central shaft fixed correctly in the jug.
Turning the fastening ring (F) clockwise (Fig.
2).
-The lid must be off in order to fit the jug on to
the main unit . Make sure that the jug measure-
ment marks are at the back and press the jug
so that it locks into position. (Fig.3).
-To cover the jug, place the lid on, making sure
the seal seats correctly, and turn it clockwise
until it clicks into place. (Fig.4)
-CAUTION: The surface of the jug may reach
very high temperatures during operation.
Do not touch the jug with bare hands during
operation.
- To remove the jug from the main unit, open the
lid by turning it anticlockwise and then remove
the jug.
-IMPORTANT: for safety purposes, the applian-
ce stops when the lid is opened.
WHISK, STIR PADDLE AND BLADES (G, H, I):
-The whisk accessory (G) is used to beat eggs,
whip cream and egg whites and mix food wit-
hout shredding it. Speed range: 1-4
-The stir paddle attachment (H) is used to stir
food, make soups or other ingredients that
require heat. Speed range: 1-3
-The blades are used to chop, shred, knead,
blend, etc.. Speed range: 1-12
-To attach any of these accessories, just hold
it by the end and press it against the central
shaft.
-To remove the accessories, grip the end and
gently pull until it comes free.
