STORAGE & CLEANING
The sensor lens is the most delicate part of the thermometer. The lens should be kept clean at all times. Take care
when cleaning the lens, using only a soft cloth or cotton swab with water or medical alcohol, and allow the lens to
fully dry before using the unit. Do not submerge any part of the thermometer. The thermometer should be stored at
room temperature between -4~140°F (–20 to +60°C).
LOW BATTERY INDICATIOR:
When the ‘Low Battery’ icon indicates the battery is low, the batteries should be replaced immediately with 2
AAA batteries. Please note: It is important to turn the instrument off before replacing the batteries, otherwise the
thermometer may malfunction. Dispose of used batteries properly and keep away from children.
Always
replace both batteries at the same time; do not combine old and new batteries. Do not mix Alkaline, carbon-zinc
(standard) or Nickel-Cadmium (rechargeable) batteries.
Remove the batteries if the unit will not be used for a
long period of time.
