NOTES:
To comply with international regulations, we have also added a rear panel POWER switch.
You don’t need to use the POWER switch on the rear panel. Use the front panel POWER switch instead.
Pin 2 is »hot« on all XLR’s (IEC and AES standards). For soldering instructions please refer to page 55.
If you are connecting the DBMAX to unbalanced equipment, you must tie pins 1 and 3 together in the cable
ends away from the DBMAX.
NOTE!
Pins 1 and 3 on the DIN connectors serve as RS485 connection. Therefore, if you are connecting the unit to
other equipment that use these pins, please make sure to use 3-wire standard MIDI type cable (not a five
wire MIDI-PLUS type).
If you want to use the Pedal Input, make sure it is a momentary type.
