WARNING!
Risk of injury due to im-
proper installation and ini-
tial commissioning
Improper installation and ini-
tial commissioning can result
in serious personal injury or
property damage.
Follow the instructions
in this chapter.
If in doubt, contact the
manufacturer.
Make sure you have
enough space, cleanli-
ness, and order before
starting work.
Install components pro-
fessionally and keep
pre-defined tightening
torques.
Secure components
against falling or tip-
ping over.
5.2 Installation
Important information about
the weather
If the fan is installed outdoors, it
must be protected from weather
and weather conditions.
Observe the following information during
installation and maintenance:
•
The fan is equipped with isolators
between the engine and the con-
sole. Do not strain the isolators on
shear or pull.
•
Screw the fan tightly at the place of
use, with the console on a level,
solid, and sufficiently stable surface
without vibration transmission/load.
•
We recommend the suction and
pressure-side connection of the
system via compensators.
•
The console is designed only for
the respective weight of the fan. A
greater load can cause damage to
the fan.
•
Ensure adequate motor ventilation.
The permissible ambient tempera-
tures are -20°C (-4°F) to +40°C
(104°F)
•
The ventilation system of the drive
motor must not be affected by the
installation situation. Make sure
there is enough space around the
drive motor.
•
IK devices may cause severe con-
tamination of the cooling fins under
special environmental conditions. If
the cooling capacity on the cooling
fins is not sufficient, the frequency
inverter switches off. Regular clean-
ing is required for devices in these
environments. In this situation,
