Threading the top thread
1. Turn the hand wheel towards the
front until the thread take-up lever
is at its highest position.
2. Place a reel of thread on the reel
spindle.
3. Replace the reel cover.
4. Raise the presser foot lever to its
highest position.
5. Pass the thread:
a) through the threading eyelet
b) through the slot of the thread guide
c) between the tension discs
d) to the left under the thread feeder
upwards
e) to the left over the thread take-up
lever downwards
f) into the thread guide on the needle
holder
g) through the eye of the needle, from
the front to the back
h) to the rear between the toes of the
presser foot.
