Caution:
Use only gum- and acid-free
sewing machine oil, for instance
the oil originally supplied with the
machine. Oil only the parts listed
below. Use the oil sparingly - a
single drop is usually enough.
1. Raise the needle to its highest posi-
tion.
2. Remove the detachable sewing
table.
3. Take out the bobbin case.
4. Swing the two black plastic leaves
outwards.
5. Remove the bobbin case.
6. Take the shuttle out.

Caution:
The shuttle has a very sharp point.
7. Clean the shuttle and the shuttle
case with a lint free cloth.
8. Place a drop of oil on the working
surface of the shuttle and the
shuttle case.
9. Replace the shuttle.
10. Replace the shuttle cover.
11. Swing the two black plastic leaves
inwards until they fit into place.
12. Insert the bobbin case.
